Waiting Room

I wrote this song during one of the darkest times in my life. While I was in therapy for anxiety, I did an exercise in a workbook asking readers to literally count how many hours they had left in their life. The idea was that seeing a concrete number of hours should help one get more involved in their life and make the most of it. Months later, the exercise did help me live more in the moment, but at the time, it scared the shit out of me.

Produced by my super-talented brother, Philip Strickland.

If you would like to listen to it on your own device, please download the song and pay what you want to. Thank you for supporting indie music.

More music to come.
